You do not have a sleep problem. You have a cannot-switch-off problem.
Exhausted all day, then the moment your head hits the pillow your brain wants to review everything you have ever done. That is a wind-down problem, and it is not solved by knocking yourself out.

Why not melatonin
Melatonin and sedatives work by putting you under. That is a different problem to the one you have.
Mood Mod has no melatonin, no sedatives and nothing that knocks you out. L-theanine promotes alpha brain wave activity, the calm-but-awake state, and magnesium glycinate supports nervous system function. You wind down rather than switch off, so mornings are not foggy.
On cortisol, specifically
Saffron's effect on cortisol has been measured directly, not just inferred.
A randomised trial of an evening dose of Affron® looked at sleep quality, cortisol and melatonin in adults with poor sleep. It is the study we point to when we talk about cortisol, and you can read it yourself rather than take our word for it.
The largest Affron trial to date, published in The Journal of Nutrition in 2025, enrolled 202 adults with subclinical depressive symptoms. Participants taking 28mg of Affron daily for 12 weeks showed significantly greater improvement in mood compared to the placebo group, and reported reduced daily feelings of sadness and stress as early as five weeks into the study.
Honest about what it does
This will not fix insomnia and it is not a sleep medication.
It is a daily drink with L-theanine, magnesium glycinate and a clinically studied dose of saffron. If your nights are genuinely broken, that is a conversation for your doctor, not a supplement.
