Affron® Saffron Extract: The Core of the Formula

How It Works

The largest Affron® trial to date, published in The Journal of Nutrition in 2025, enrolled 202 adults with subclinical depressive symptoms. Participants taking 28mg of Affron® daily for 12 weeks showed significantly greater improvement in mood compared to the placebo group. Participants also reported reduced daily feelings of sadness and stress as early as five weeks into the study.
Earlier trials have also demonstrated that Affron® at 28mg per day significantly improved mood, reduced anxiety symptoms, and supported better sleep quality in healthy adults over 4 to 8 week periods. L-Theanine: Calm Focus Without Sedation
